Case 9 – Zeeshan Zahid

This patient was financially restricted and was treatment planned to receive RPD/RPD.
Prep #4 is seen here which is to be a surveyed abutment for the maxillary RPD.

Here is a close-up of the die made after preparation of #4. The master cast itself was poured using Type IV die stone. The detail and background of materials throughout this case, including die preparation, make this case especially interesting to me.

Teeth #13 and #14 were also prepared to serve as surveyed abutments for the maxillary RPD. Casts were cross-mounted as two final impressions were taken for the different abutment teeth.

PFM crowns delivered from the lab. Metal occlusal tables were requested to manage inter-arch space and provide support for the maxillary RPD.
